Family Roadtrip: Portugal June/July 2018

I’m certain there are many that have gone before us and embarked on the family adventure of a life time (or at least one for the memory books!) I must admit I checked in with my trusty guru more fondly named Dr Google for a bit of advice as I feel like I’m taking my family on a journey into the wilderness.

It has taken me about 3 hours to write a paragraph as I’m mid way through Suicide hour. I reach into my pocket to find my phone again only to take out a piece of peeled butternut skin that somehow made it into my jacket pocket between a dummy and cell phone. Yes that sums up my life in its current season! In the moments writing my youngest has managed to crawl to the trash (pause to rescue) and tip over the bin onto himself just before bed time, wait (pause to rescue again) now get himself squashed into a corner. All I can say is we booked the trip this morning, we leave in 6 days time for a 3 week family camping trip and I’m stealing moments at 3am (during feeding times) to plan the “holiday of a lifetime”

We are excited! Two adults, a toddler (4.5yrs) and an Infant (10months) in a family size camper van cruising Portugal for Just short of a month is epic.

Watch this space as we will be blogging about Portugal, Surf, Travels, Memories and places you have to see!
